Nexus Apartments

This key worker housing development consists of 36 car spaces on ground and basement with 42 apartments dispersed across two upper buildings separated by an open outdoor space. The apartments have been designed to capture  the attributes of a suburban home.  All apartments have been designed to achieve cross ventilation which will improve the quality of the dwellings and also reduce heating and cooling costs. Access from the secure lift to the apartment entry doors is via raised, open walkways. These walkways provide garden space to every apartment allowing residents the opportunity for decorative or culinary planting. The walkways, along with communal dining and seating areas encourage social interaction within the development. Apartments have a portico area to define the apartment entries, provide security and also provide an outdoor clothes drying area hidden from the street view.
