The Storeys

The Storeys on Surflen Street is a 7 level apartment building incorporating 46 apartments and 4 floors of car parking to the front portion of the site. Ground floor has extensive communal areas including an entry garden, covered BBQ area and function room with an ancillary climate controlled wine storage facility in response to the apartment market demands.

The site was a very difficult shape to maximise development opportunity and has minimal street frontage.  Our architectural response was to propose 3 separate buildings connected by exterior walkways and gardens. This enabled our client to unlock significant frontage within the site itself, creating superior apartment layouts all with cross ventilation and protected outlooks.
